Your friend has just moved to a new city and wants to find new friends. What advice would you give your friend? Give details and examples in your response. Begin your response after the beep.Moving to a new city can be hard, because sometimes it is difficult to make new friends. If my friend moved to a new city, I would tell her to get involved. I would tell her to join a group, like a music association. She could even take a class, like cooking class. Joining the gym is also perfect way to meet people. The best way to meet new people is to find ways to be in public. Going to the gym every day is a great way to see new people and there are many opportunities to start a conversation at the gym. Not only would I tell my friend to make an effort to go meet to people at social activities, I would also warn her not to get stuck at home. (Anna)

Some people think robots will be smarter than humans in the future. Other people think that robots will advance, but will never be smarter than humans. Which viewpoint do you agree with? Use specific reasons and example to support your answer.

While I do believe that robots in the future will be greatly advanced, I do not believe that they will ever be smarter than humans. I don’t know very much about artificial intelligence, but there is something organic and instinctual in organisms that I think will never be completely simulated in a computer program. Take human instinct for example. Humans sense the environment around them and can react to sudden changes. Yes robots can also be built to sense changes, and yes they can be programmed to respond to these changes, but their response is based on a computer formula. Of course there are programs that do have the ability to adapt and change the formula, but this is complicated by the occurrence of unpredictable circumstances. That is where human instinct will always trump artificial intelligence. (Anna)

第三题:suggest to remove TV in dorm 好像是走廊, one reason is it would make students communicate less, another is noise. The man disagree, he says that students will talk more about the programs and exchange opinion, as for noise they can just close the door, school can put signs on the door to remind students to close the door.

The university suggests that they should remove TV in dorm. (But the man disagreed with this)。

第四题: 好像叫information cascade, 说人们做选择前看别人怎么选择再模仿, professor gives an example when he went to a new city, choose place to have dinner between an Italian restaurant and a French, guidebook suggest Italian, but he find Italian is empty while French is crowded, so he choose French, but food was mediocre, after he go to the French, even more people choose French and Italian is still empty.

第五题:男生定错机票have a physics test on that day, two solutions, one is to change the flight, charge $150 fee, another is to ask the professor to change the date of exam, only Tuesday is available, but have another two exams on that day, don't sure if he will be ready for the three exams.

有两个解决办法,一是change the flight,二是ask the professor to change the date of exam。

第六题: 教授讲omnivores如何对待unfamiliar food and avoid poison food, two ways, one is rat bite a little, if not poison, eat more until it is sure the food is poisonless, 如果已经中毒,老鼠吃一种clay中和毒素使其不被吸收 。
