　　The five hosts of The View - Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherrie Shepherd and Barbara Walters - collectively picked up the outstanding talk show host award, ending Ellen DeGeneres’s four-year run as the winner.

　　Jeff Branson, who plays Shayne Lewis on the soap, tied for best supporting actor with Vincent Irizarry of ABC’s All My Children.

　　Children’s programme Sesame Street picked up the lifetime achievement award.
　　Kevin Clash, who plays Elmo in the show, was named best performer in a children’s series.
